Troop Meetings: The purpose of weekly meetings is to prepare for the next outing. Scouts Should not be un-supervised before 7:15 and picked-up at 9:00 for regular meetings.
Court of Honor: Scheduled 4 times a year (check calendar). A court of honor is for the whole family. The Scouts have worked hard for their badges, we need to be there to say Great Job. A normal Court of Honor Starts is in place of a weekly troop meeting and is held in the school cafe at 7:30. Usually we ask each family to bring a snack to share.
District Roundtable: The Gravois Trails District holds a monthly informational on the first Tuesday. Usually attended by the Scoutmaster and Assistants, everyone is welcome. Place varies (for now at General American Life), meetings start at 7:00pm
OA Chapter Meeting:
Our Troop is part of the Gravois Trail Chapter of Shawnee Lodge. The
Chapter holds quarterly meetings (November, February,
May, and August).
These meetings are usually the second Wednesday of the month. In addition
to the four meetings, there are various service projects the Chapter does for
the Council. These are scheduled and announced at the Chapter Meetings and
District Roundtable. In addition to Chapter activities, Shawnee Lodge
holds two campouts (fall reunion and spring conclave) and a winter banquet.
Attendance at the meetings, service projects, and campouts is required for
advancement to Brotherhood and Vigil honor.
