I have been teaching for 9 years, the last 7 at Assumption. My first year was at a city school which closed, then at a high school for 1 year. While I have enjoyed teaching other subjects, my favorite is always science.

Degrees: BS Biology Southeast Missouri State University; Working on MAT                           Lindenwood University
Certification: Missouri Middle School Science (5-9)   

Gardening in spring and summer is something I really enjoy. I have also become an avid runner (12-15 miles per week).

I am married with 4 children: three boys and one girl. My oldest two have graduated college, the third is a sophomore in college, and the youngest is a junior in high school. I live in Sunset Hills which is only a 12 minute drive to Assumption.
