Educational Experience

This is my 11th year as principal of Assumption. Before that I served as principal of Holy Redeemer School in Webster Groves for six years. I taught 6th grade English and 7th grade science at Our Lady of Sorrows for three years. The diocese of Peoria was home before that where I taught upper grade science, math, religion, computer science, and literature in two different schools for sixteen years.

Educational Background

Degrees: MA in Educational Administration from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois,
and a BA in Elementary Education from Illinois State University. I have completed more than half of the coursework towards a doctorate in instructional processes at UMSL.
Certification: State certification as administrator and teacher K-9, middle school language arts and science. Catechist certification from the Archdiocese of St. Louis

Hobbies

I like to crochet, bake, and decorate cakes. I love computers and spend many hours with technology. Recreational swimming is my favorite outdoor activity next to recess duty. I have a yoga routine I do at home. I love to read and learn.

Personal

I enjoy spending time with my husband, our children and their families. We spend time at Lost Valley Lake in Owensville, Missouri, fishing, swimming, and playing games.
