Small church communities are groups of 10-12 people who meet in one another’s homes to share their faith. They are a means of learning more about the faith and sharing faith within a small support group. The purpose is to connect faith to daily life experiences and to see how God works in each person's life. Individuals pray for and support one another. Parishioners can join an existing small church community or form a new group to share and hear others express their love for God. Members should be willing to participate in sharing their faith in a comfortable atmosphere, maintaining confidentiality and praying and supporting one another. Each group determines meeting days and times. Groups meet weekly, biweekly or monthly. Any adult older than 18 is invited to join a small church group. We also welcome members of other denominations.
If you are a woman interested in joining a group like this,
please contact Stacey Macko and list your available times to meet.
Emmaus Groups is a small group program offered to young adults in the Archdiocese of St. Louis. This dynamic program is a small, faith sharing community where young adults can walk together on the journey of faith, dive into Scripture, and share life with one another. Groups consist of 5-10 members and meet at the convenience of each group.
Emmaus Groups provide opportunities for young adults who often experience transition and newness in a parish setting. It invites them to connect in a deeper way with other young adults.
